Roosevelt School Art Program
The Art Program here at Roosevelt implements a curriculum that meets both the National and State Standards for Art Education. The art instruction is divided into five components; Understanding the Creative Process, History of the Arts and Culture, Performing, Aesthetic Response and Critique Methodologies. The Art Curriculum was written by the Art Educators of each school and is current according to the Nj state standards.
The curriculum is on view at the district's website.

We will be getting messy while having fun experimenting with a variety of materials. So please have your child dress accordingly.
A SMOCK is a great way to avoid stained clothing so please send one in with their name and class on it inside a plastic bag.
Please take a few moments to view some of the student work from each grade level.
Enjoy and Thank You for taking the time to see some of the art the students and I have been creating over the years.
